Accent/Dialect Coaching

At the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I received actor and drama speech training and voice coaching. I did a lot of  accent and dialect work. Since I left in 2008 I have been teaching a accents/dialects myself.

I mainly teach accents to actors for any accent work they require for auditions or projects in TV, Film, Theatre and Radio. Each person I teach goes away from my classes feeling more confident in their accent work and indeed achieving their goals of being proficient in a new accent.

I am a sensitive teacher with strong people and teaching skills, who gets results and helps his students to achieve their goals effectively. I am extremely passionate about accents and in indeed coaching them. I am able to help students to get somewhere with their voice work from their very first session. I have a large understanding of the difference between a range of accents and can currently do over 25 different accents convincingly myself. This in turn aids my complete understanding of how many accents differ from each other and my ability to teach students another one from their own.
